I took some wild orchids photos in south india. If you identify any of these orchids, please give Botanical name or Commonly used name.

    chanced upon your orchids post while browsing the net.Must say was happy to see someone interested in orchids :)

    I think first foto is of
    Epidendrum radicans, 4. its not cottonia, 5. its Bulbophylum (do you have a photo of flower?) 6. is a Dendrobium (I think its a very common in coorg, saw tons of them in brahmagiri)

    recently i also visited coorg and got a lot of orchids back,and within a span of 3 months two of them hv bloomed- the flowers are very tiny and hv u come across such tiny ones would u know the name?

    nice to see the photographs but not so clear
    I think No. 5 and 7 are bulbophyllum no 6 is hebinaria and no. 2 may be rhynocostalis.
    anyways nice to see and would like to see your other photographs

    Habenaria is a terrestrial Orchid, here 6 is Dendrobium. mostly Den. aqueum !!
